We are a Colombian/danish couple who love nature and art. Anamcara is our refuge located in the Nariño province of southern Colombia.
The Anamcara farm is situated on the slopes of the Galeras Volcano, 35 km from the urban center of Pasto and 7 km from the municipality of Nariño. At a height of approximately 2000 m.a.s.l. It has a very pleasant climate, the average temperature is 25°C during the day and 15°C at night.
We have a art-studios, gardens and coffee fields, avocado and various fruit trees. It is possible to go hiking (descent and ascent to the Honda rapids), watch birds and at night the stars offer a wonderful show as the milky-way lights up the sky. On a sunny day it is possible to see the magnificent Galeras volcano.
The local population is mainly dedicated to agriculture and livestock. In recent years, both amateur and professional cyclists have practiced in the area, which has promoted sports tourism.
